Timesys offers a LinuxLink subscription for the Freescale MPC8560

LinuxLink components for the Freescale MPC8560 processor have been validated on the MPC8560ADS reference board from Freescale and enable the usage of the Freescale MPC8560 LinuxLink for development targeting all designs based on MPC8560 processor.

Processor derivatives and reference boards/OEM boards

The MPC8560 LinuxLink can also be used as a starting point for Linux development for designs based on the MPC8540 processor and as a starting point for Linux development for designs derived from the following:

• EP85xxM PrPMC SBC from Embedded Planet
• SBC-G8700 SBC from GDA Technologies, Inc
• Pm8560 - ProcessorPMC module from Emerson
• EB8540 E2Brain series module from Kontron
• SBC8560_40 from WindRiver

Complete peripheral support for Freescale MPC8560 derived integrated processors, or board support for other reference designs, might need to be sourced from manufacturers of the respective processors or reference boards.
